I got alot of suggestions for the NW2 while you guys develop it. So much ideas.. sorry -Get rid of the story system, I doubt anyone really pays attention to the storyline or anything. -Dumb down the names of the places. ex. Iruka - Casino, The Smile Of Dawn - Tea house -Add mailsystem -Add dying, and reviving system, where when you die you go and revive yourself -Add weapons; Shurikens, Throwing Knives, Giant Shurikens. -When fighting someone you must be in the same area, ex. Tea house -Show the number of people who are online -When you click character list, it shows ONLY who is in the same area as you, ex. if I was in Iruka (Casino), and clicked Character list it will show only who is in the casino -If I want to see who is online and where, I can use a special item; Sight Scroll, you use it and then it shows you who is online and where. -Stat system in the Dojo, where you can train agility, strength, and defence. So when you go to the Dojo, it takes 10 turns to get 1 point in strength or agility etc. -Refresh button for the chat, and maybe add a command where you can make your own channel so when theres clan wars you can make your own strategies with your clan. -Bounty system STRENGTH- increases dmg AGILITY- has chance to hit twice, and chance to dodge hits (higher agi = higher chance) DEFENCE- reduce dmg taken from enemies. -Add more areas to go to, and then add special areas where you would have to go through a series of places like; Hidden forest, Left turn? Right Turn? etc. etc. Then there will be a hideout and when you go in the hideout there will be an NPC, and if you kill him the hideout is yours, the name changes to your clan name or your name. -Clan wars, where when you war against another clan people would just go and find out theyre opponents hideout then when they go in and click character list it would show who is there in the same area, and then you spaz out on all the enemies, but when you die you would have to go back to the hospital and then go back to the enemies base. And thats it.. sorry for so much

The Story will be the driving force behind all content within the game. There will be NPC's, there will be factions, death, betrayal, etc. You will be drawn into the storyline. You just aren't yet because it's not fleshed out. That's coming soon.-Dumb down the names of the places. ex. Iruka - Casino, The Smile Of Dawn - Tea house This is part of the immersion. There currently is a weakened state in which you cannot perform attacks. This is based on your character vitality.-Add weapons; Shurikens, Throwing Knives, Giant Shurikens. when weapons come out what about being able to equip weapons to your right or left hand or maybe even both(i.e. dual wielding). this has probably already been said somewhere.

Which archetype is a spy?
BTW can you update us on when the mail system, and other stuff is finished?
Before I can come out with real good suggestions and more of them then I need to to know more about NW2, and what you guys plan on doing. Right now, im still confused about the; fisherman, temple monk etc. I know they are jobs, but does one have a special skill or something, the wiki isnt finished so im still wondering if theres any difference between the jobs.

Right now, there is no difference between jobs. Eventually, the primary difference between jobs will be story based. Each occupation will be able to get different pieces of information at different times, moving the story along. Maybe jobs will be tied in with a way to work to make money, but that's not decided yet. There is also talk of having factions in the game with which you can have varying reputations. You will be updated when new changes to the game happen, check www.ninjawars2.com for news updates. The wiki is indeed something we need to work on heavily, we will. First we gotta get the development done. What else is going into the game? Combo based combat, items, skills, an inventory, equipment, more chat features like private messages, clans, clan halls, travel costs, NPCs, riddles, puzzles, NPC conversations, etc etc etc. There's a lot of stuff. Let us get into the swing of things, we'll show you a lot of new things. I realize we need to be better at communicating, we'll work on that.

So, I just want to take this moment to say, it's totally OK to yell and scream at each other, just try not to take it personally. This is actually a very good conversation. I provide some information, the vet complains about a noobs behavior, the noob tries to defend, and the vet continues with helpful suggestions. Granted, there's yelling and name calling, but hey! As long as you don't take it too hard, this works. So yeah, shinobihokage, if you really love this game, you will read the history of the conversations. And don't worry, we won't impose any rules about who's allowed to make suggestions, but don't you worry, it's not like we take bad ideas seriously.

Sorry for the double post but another good idea for NW2 is maybe add pictures to the world places? like for The Dojo you can have a small picture of a shuriken or something, and for those forest places you can put a question mark.

You know this is just a suggestion, but if you could work out a critical hit system with the perception stat...
Tie in subtlety to backstabbing and sneak attacks
Prowess to stand up fighting... deflection and attack strength
Agility to evasion of attacks and likeliness to hit
Of course, you likely already had these ideas as they are basics *shrugs* just thought I would suggest it.

Timestamps on the chat room are actually incoming in the next update, which should happen soon.
Critical hits have kind of fallen off our radar mainly for balance reasons. We may add them back into the design at some point, but right now we're trying to focus on skills. Once we get a balanced skill system going, we'll add some interesting stat interactions.

I think the 5 main things that should be done in the next update (in order) are;
-Date/Time in messages -Shop Open / Dojo Open -Shuriken, kunai, throwing knives implemented -Use of weapons ie. Shuriken -Skills
Then after that you guys should do these 5 things;
-Stat fixation -Clan bases (that are able to be taken over) & Clan wars -A place to go to make your own clan -More Archetypes; Suggestions = Spy, Assassin, Medical? -The combat system that you guys are ranting about.
Then after that will just be these 5 little things like;
-When you look at character list, it shows only the people who are in the same area as you. Also, making it limited meaning you can only attack people who are in the same location as you
-Scrolls ( ie. Sight Scroll, Sharingan Scroll, Fire Scroll, Ice Scroll, Illusion Scroll )
-Claws
-Pictures on the locations, ex. Picture of a Fist above the link to go to the Dojo.
-Balance out skills, classes and fix bugs

I sincerely thank you for prioritizing your list of features. We will included it in our design considerations.
I think it's pretty obvious that the people managing development are ultimately the ones who decide what happens when, and I don't think shinobihokage thought even for a second that his list would replace ours, he just wanted to weigh in, which allows us to change our own priorities based on player feedback.
