The problem is and has always been multis that are there to take your own bounties or espianoge into other clans. NW has never been set up for single play. Which means that the only thing to do on NW is kill other play
ers and take bounties. Stock up on dims and other scrolls with the mass amount of kill points you get from doing the same thing over and over again. If you like simple repation then thats fine, but new players that come in get bored and leave. no suppries really. NW has gang mentality when it comes to new people. Show yourself as the top dog or just torment the ew players. THis drive away any new activity that might comealong to NW, basicaly high lvls drive off any possible new players since we all think them to be multis.
If you actually give something people to do while no one is around other than kill the list things might actually become more active with new players. This is a system taken in part from NW2 that was sorta kewl if it worked. I'm going to call it Travel for now. This Will be a new set of pages accessed from a link around the clan button. This would pull up a page with found locations on it and a button to start a new travel. Found location sis a list of links to travel to shops, towns, and NPC's found in travels. Each place in the list has a certain amount of turns that it takes to get to this location. This is due to the fact that travels uses turns health lvl and abilities form multi play that we all know and love. If you die in travels you need to res like normal and are booted from travels.
On travels you have directions north south east west paths that are randomly generated. You don't always get all of these paths like i said randomly generated. Basically the path can go on forever since everything is randomly generated. The only thing that will change things is regions. Four regions northern southern etc. once you travel from one to another they are bookmarked on the found places and to switch automatically you use a certain large amount of turns to witch regions.
On the path you will meet or find NPC's, shops, towns castles and more. Towns shops etc. once found go to the quick travel list. The npc's are different some are attack-able others automatically attack you, and some give u objects to find on the path to bring back to them for items abilities ect. The auto attacking npcs will do just that when you travel the path and go to the next if an auto attacker is made then once you switch it attacks you and you automatically attack it like attacking a thief. the attack-able npcs are ones that you find along the path and can choose to attack or keep following the path. Certain npc's when attacked and killed do different things like the current ones. thief for shurikens, monks for gold, but add in more npcs that are easier to kill to give kill points so you don't have to use the list to lvl up. Travels can lv players up as well now. This way you don't have to get owned on the lists all the time by high lvl players and still have fun.
This is only part of my idea for Travels but wanted feedback. My real hope for everything is the players highjack the code Tch gave us all and redo Ninjawars completely. The game has a lot of holes that can't e fixed by one person. I have a little coding know how and am studying it more and more to actually implement this idea. The problem is we were given the code to use and manipulate but none of either want to put the coding time in or don't understand the site its on or more likely is not many know how to code in general. I would love to find the people that do know how to code and redo it all. If you like this idea please comment and give me a hand with it.
