I was wondering, in the skills section of the ninjas it states that for a blue ninja the ice bolt will be modified soon.
i was wondering how soon, and to what?
if the bolt now is something like the red ninjas fire bolt would it relate to level?
or will it still be in the turns area. and if so, maybe a frozen side effect can be made, or better yet, give the ice bolt a 5 cost to give the enemy 10 turns so you can steal them with the cold steal.
which might i add is annoying because when you get a decent hit on another ninja it only is 5 turns different, maybe a higher turn cost for more turns, not being frozen as often, or just getting rid of the whole "2 turn cost to get 2 turns back" for a cold steal thing
also, if you are asked by a monk in the dojo to switch to a new ninja, it cost 20 kills, im fine with this because i honestly don't want to be a black ninja, but if i did, why is the memory of 20 kills so high? if your a lower level ninja or a higher one, it would seem if we wanted to turn into another ninja it would through off our lvling grove. or even revert the lower leveled ninja by a level or 2. and would it really be worth the small change in attacks?
another question i have is why the black and red ninjas the only ones with status effects? why not freeze for blue and blind for white instead of its midnight healing thing, because really? who heals at midnight for 150 at the cost of turns?
Blind I'm pretty sure i made up but if not oh well, blind can be an attack that makes it so the opponent can't attack back when you attack them at a cost of 2-3 turns, something like a reverse stealth exept it's not on you.
the freezing of the ice for a blue ninja can be like the burning for a red, it can be like, frost bite, or the burning of red ninja can hold the enemy in place so they cant attack you back.
why should it cost extra to do the blaze attack? doesn't it take enogh? and don't all ninja have sight anyway? poison touch is something like burn but it cost nothing? y?
i hope some of these questions can be resolved soon and we can have a better game play experience.

also as a random event maybe finding some weird item that most people don't have, for example a katana that does instant death to 2 ninja, or a rare healing item, or new items in general would make it a lot better.

i think the cold steal is just fine, i love it, also only 20 kills to change class is just fine, i doubt ill ever talk to that monk but 20 is nothing
the cost of blaze is fine, dont know how much poison cost but i would hope its the same as firebolt

it doesn't say anything about cost for poison. ok, i get what ur sayin about the 20 kills now( i just figured out how much easier it is to kill by dueling people is)

Re: Cold steal: There's a limit to how good cold stealing can be before it becomes unbalanced. At this point, just consider it a griefing technique that usually doesn't cost you too many turns.

The class change ability is for when/if people think they would prefer a different class after they create. ...it costs kills just so that it's not something that people do every two seconds or something. *shrugs*

More status effects could be cool at some point, sure.

Ok, in the "about" page. That's essentially old information, so I've updated it to look like this when we next release new code:
All Ninja Attack - A simple, quick attack, where you and your opponent both fight for a moment. Duel - A long attack that ends only when you or your opponent are dead. Sight - View the specific details of another ninja, with a turn cost. Stealth - Become immune to certain normal combat attacks until you attack yourself, or until you next receive turns. Your first strike after being stealthed will cause additional damage. Unstealth - Stop sneaking and being stealthed. Deflect - Double your damage while dueling. Steal - Steal gold from an opponent. Cold Steal - Steal turns from an opponent, taking some of them for yourself. White Ninja Primary Skill: Chi - Increased healing at the shrine. Aux Skill: Moonlight Heal - Increases the hitpoints gained at midnight. Return to Contents Red Ninja Primary Skill: Fire Bolt - Inflicts Damage based on Ninja Level Aux Skill: Blaze - Adds extra damage during attacks, using extra turns. Return to Contents Blue Ninja Primary Skill: Ice Bolt - Decreases an enemy's turns. Aux Skill: Speed - Increases turns gained over time. Return to Contents Black Ninja Primary Skill: Poison Touch - Poison an enemy, causing them further damage over time. Aux Skill: Hidden Resurrect - When you die and resurrect, you will come back to life stealthed. Return to Contents
Essentially, that all just reflects the more current situation with skills.

i gots an idear but it may be too hectic, because peoples levels are so high.
but anyway, here it is.
do you think it would be good if when you kill a ninja instead of it only counting for 1 kill for everyone, why not just make the kills per lvl? like if someone kills a lvl 30 and they need 40 kills it would make 10 kills left. higher lvls don't have to pick on the noobs and noobs get stronger if they're lucky may need work tho

It's absolutely something we're trying to resolve. The issue is definitely the level disparity right now. It will get done, but it needs to be done right, and it's probably not going to happen until some other changes are added first.

yeah white's always been nerfed and yet redeemed by its ability of sight, as a means of thwarting stealth or checking stuff out... now it's got this healing discount... hardly as impressive as firebolts or poison touch and flawed in its reliance of the concept of defense or surviving, which by now seems impossible for any consistent length of time. but did white really get nerfed? it's got blaze now doesn't it? and cold steal? all of which spell out dueling BETTER and MORE OFTEN, and stealthing up to sight and pickpocket hapless afk victims, and then heal up and blaze/deflect/dual the crap out of others...
well u could argue white has never been this strong a class
moonlight heal isn't even worth it's own existence however

perhaps this concept is something u intended to avoid, but a healing item (be it a medicine, scroll, pill, ninja tea, mystic sake, pork bun, rice bowl... whatever) to either fully heal or massively heal a ninja i think, is totally in the interest of future ninja action...
lets face it, it simply takes too long to speed up and work off turns just to heal, even if u were a white ninja.. and sick as it could ever be dim will still be there to counter it
since people can bank speeds in effect to spend turns (transformed thru work) as health later there seems to me to be no reason a short cut that just gave u health would exist in the form of another item, scroll, or failing that the theme of a ninja class...

really tho bro, whats the point of a healing item? you already know you and the other kids have a retarded amount of dims stored up why bother to heal knowing the children can just auto the dims?? seems like a waste of time to me

Storing up health, eh. I want to make defense an actual possibility before I'd consider whether storing up lots of health too would be a good idea. The ability to store up turns is kinda bad enough, ya know?
