Well since i've been to the site my understanding is that the game is solely centered around the fighting. But after awhile you begin to ask yourself "what am I killing for?"
Why dont you get some players to create a background story. Then consantly create events that will be broadcasted through a News section. This way location and traveling becomes important in the game. So instead of anyone attacking anyone, they have to be in the same city. That also means that create unique cities and stuffs like that.
That should enhance the gameplay and encourage more roleplaying, and give players something to do while they wait for there turn points to increase. I dont mind helping with the storyline and stuff but PHP....let just say am failing at learning it.

Hey seifernious, Funny you should mention locations and travelling. That was a big feature we were going for, but keeping slightly underwraps. But hey, the cat's out of the bag. ;D Yes, we will be having multiple locations in the game that will restrict combat to whoever is in your locale. One of the things we really hope to gain from this is that low level players will be safe from high levels as the high levels move to different towns to continue their advancement. As for storyline, I'm completely sure yet what we could do, but I am working on the idea. And about PHP, do you know how to program? If you understand how to program in any language, then the migration to PHP isn't hard except that you have to learn a few things about coding for databases and web servers, and if that's you're only trouble I'd be happy to help you out. But if you're using PHP as your first programming language, I can't really help you there.
Anyway, good post, good ideas, and try to make some stories in the role-playing forum, maybe something cool will come out of it.
