Hello, I saw Adrelith (level 2) in the bounty list today. Bounty prize is 590. I (level 8) killed Adrelith. However, I did not get the bounty and I get 25 gold on my head instead. Adrelith's info still shows a bounty prize of 590. Is level a restriction on bounty hunting? Please explain the complete rules. Thank you.

Yes, there is a level restriction. You get 25 gold on your head for every 5 levels above your victim.
So a level 6 killing a level 1 gets 25 bounty, and a level 11 killing a level 1 gets 50 bounty.
If you kill someone with bounty on their head, you get the reward...
...unless you are above the five level rule. Then, instead of a reward, you get punished.
Hope that explains it.

Thank you, Beagle. Yes, that explains it. I must be careful next time. That 590 gold reward is really appealing.

How does a level 2 ninja get a bounty then? What other rules determine how people get bounties on their heads?
On a quick sidenote, what timezone is this all based in... some stuff resets at midnight, just wondering when that is in relation to say... GMT.

Honestly, since we changed servers, I don't know what the time zone is, but I believe it's US Central.
As for how does a level 2 get bounty, someone put it there. You can click on a ninja and there will be an option to place bounty on their head with your own goal. It's kind of a way to get back at players you don't want to kill personally.
