What about making new clans that are optional from the start so you can become part of a starting clan and be attacked less. You should still be able to make and join clans but just optional that the developers can put in the clans they want. (Example: Dark Dragon Ministry,Blade Masters, Dark Dragons,Dark Immortals, etc.)

That's a good idea! And a great way to reward the most powerful clans in the game. Some considerations on it that I'd like feedback for though:
1) Slippery Slope problem. Once a clan is in the top 5, if people who join can opt into their clans, and no one else, then won't they continue to dominate the clan rankings? Perhaps we need some way to make it so that having too many newbies makes your clan more difficult to manage and keep in the top?
2) This, as well as the issue of "highest level" makes it seem like we might want to run the game in rounds, like most other BBGs. Are you the players highly opposed to a round based NinjaWars 2?
That's it for now. Keep the thoughts coming.

1) Maybe you guys can try making a limit to the number of members per clan like 100 members per clan or 50 or whatever you guys want to put. Then you can put in new begginer clans from the top member of one of the top clans ideas but you'd have to choose which one of the clans that the member made up or maybe you can make your own, but thats why I said member not proggrammer first because it might become a pain doing that as soon as a clan fills up, but eventually the new clans will stop and will not be anymore clans because those who make clans and nobody joins will have empty clans and they might get lonely.
2)I really didn't understand what you said in number 2 so can you explain a little more?

Many BBGs are operated on a "round" system. That is, after a certain amount of time, usually from 1 - 6 months, the game is entirely reset, and players have to hone their strategy to become the best the fastest. This helps prevent the top players from being untouchable for all eternity. I was also thinking this about clans. If the best clans are the best clans forever, doesn't that take some of the fun out of the game?
So I was asking whether or not you thought running NinjaWars 2 with rounds was a good idea or not.

I always love the idea of an option for veterans to advance in the game by helping newbies. I'll look into the possibility of this. Thanks for the suggestion!
