This is your one-week warning, spread the word! One week from today (wednesday, July 5th or a few days later) clans that fit the following criteria will be disbanded:
All clans that have only one member. All clans with a leader whose level is lower than 5.
If either of these things describes a clan that you're leading, the solution is simple: either level up some to level 5, or get someone other than yourself to join your clan.
For those clan members who are not the leader of their clan, and with a clan leader that is both absent and still below level 5, I suggest that you look for another clan to join.
The level requirement to create a clan has already been raised (from level 1, meaning anyone can create) to level 10. This cleaning out of the weaker clans that accompanies it is an attempt to have fewer clans but more clan vs. clan rivalry, and thus hopefully more fun.

This is just a reminder that today's the deadline for clans to get up to snuff, (see previous post on the topic). I'll probably go about clearing out the clans that didn't fit the criteria tomorrow morning (July 6th).

Alright, so the clan cleanup is now done.
All clans with their clan leader less than level 5 were disbanded, and all clans with only one member.
There was some collateral damage: There were problems with the initial disbanding script, and at least one clan that I know of, Dark Dragon Ministry, was accidentally disbanded before I could kill the script. Sorry guys, your clan has been around for a long time, and I used to -be- in Dark Dragon Ministry back ages ago, so it certainly wasn't purposeful. A moment of silence for the Dark Dragon Ministry, hopefully Nadz and Sassy will bring it back to life. Send me an email to complain about it: Tchalvak at gmail.com The scripted disbanding also managed to catch a few clans with leaders who -were- over the 5th level mark, so a small number of clans with leaders who were 5-10th level might also have been disbanded, for which I apologize, though I didn't catch any names and can't be certain that any more clans actually were unfairly killed.
We are now down to a total of: 26 clans. I expect that that number'll grow in the future, and I'll be trying to make clans themselves more useful, so that despite the smaller number of clans, they'll be better.
