I think having a Forum for roleplaying would be cool but you can do whatever you want Ninja Lord. But that would be pretty cool.

Wow, someone actually asking for role-playing. I love it!
Welcome to the game blade414. I'll talk to NinjaLord about it ASAP.

Roleplaying is when, you, a normal (in this case non-ninja) person, takes on the role, via posted text, of a character (in this case, a ninja).
A typical role-playing forum will be littered with threads ranging from play by play of battles between multiple characters, stories of one's history, and play acting of scenarios like the inside of a tavern or being honored by one's dojo.
So you'll see something like:
"The moon was new and the stars could be seen brilliantly through the trees as Shindori rode his horse down the path bewteen Iyoroko Village and the capital city of Daijong. The horse was laden with several saddle bags that sagged heavily. Shindori himself was wearing newly washed clothing of high quality fiber. At his side hung a dark scabbard of black and red. In the distance, running water from a stream could be heard, and more cloesly, crickets were chirping. However, if he had listened more carefully, he may have also heard the quiet footsteps of a ninja attempting to catch up to the horse unnoticed..."
Then, we wait and see if there is a reply. By leaving your posts open-ended, it allows other people to bring their characters into the story. The next post in the thread might be,
"Deyuk-Cheng was following the horse as quickly and quietly as possible. Shrouded in black cloth, he was almost completely invisible against the dark surroundings of night. He knew the rider was more than a simple peasant due to his clothing and personal affects. Deyuk-Cheng was not one to let an opprotunity like this pass. He approached ever closer hoping not to be noticed..."
Then, the two really take off with storytelling about what's going on. Perhaps they will have dialogue, perhaps they'll just fight, each one determining if their opponents attack is successful or not. Other characters might jump in like a patrolling Doshin or perhaps another thief or even an animal. It's all about being fun, creative, and imaginative with other people.
Hope that clears it up!

And now we've got a role-playing forum! ;D Have some fun in there, if you come up with some really good stories, we might be able to do something fun with them. --Woof
